We hit the ground running here in Leysin, Switzerland! After arriving at the Chalet mid-day yesterday, we settled in, then ventured into town to shop for our first picnic together. We divided and conquered the shopping tasks, and our group proved to be an unstoppable force: we had quite the spread! We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening getting to know each other, orienting ourselves to Leysin, and enjoying a lovely dinner in the Chalet.

Today, we embarked on the ultimate outdoor adventure: Canyoning in the Alps. Imagine your favorite warm-weather outdoor activities all rolled into one: hiking, zip lining, sliding (down waterfalls), cliff jumping, and swimming — and all with unbelievable scenery!  Our guides were wonderful, and very well-trained. What an adventure! This evening, we will embark on a sunset hike. Stay tuned!
